Technical Program Manager

As a Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary team to manage the successful development of innovative IoT products in collaboration with industry leading enterprises from around the world. TPM is responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing the successful delivery of the program’s output/product.  In this role, you will:

  • Work with key internal and external stakeholders in product management, engineering, business development, sales and the executive team to define strategy and requirements
  • Establish key milestones and deliverables and develop program timelines through the direction of the Program Sponsor
  • Lead cross functional development with Product Managers and Product Leader on new technologies from design through delivery
  • Work with remote teams to deliver supporting software and services in sync with launch timelines
  • Communicate regularly with senior management and across the organization on status, risks and change control

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in technical program/project management, primarily with the hardware process, certification and manufacturing
  • 5+ years of experience defining projects, collecting requirements, writing detailed project plans, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features sets
  • Excellent communications, writing and cross team collaboration abilities
  • Excellent, proven project management skills
  • Ability to drive solutions and agreement on program scope, deliverable and deadlines to multiple key stakeholders
  • Experience in bringing to market new communications networks
  • Program management experience with taking module designs through validation and production release
  • Program management experience taking designs through prototype, pre-production and into mass production in conjunction with ODMs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or advanced technical degree
  • Product development (including C++, Java, messaging protocols, electrical engineering, and Web Services), and service-oriented architecture experience
  • Knowledge of cellular standards and certifications
  • Knowledge of hardware development process and lifecycle
